Releases RENOWNED TECHNICAL AUTHOR AND FELLOWSHIP VILLAGE RESIDENT FEATURED AT NATIONAL RADIO AMATEUR CONVENTION
While at the convention, a I'book signing" was held by publisher, CO Communications for Dr. Sevick's latest books entitled: "Understanding, Building and Using Baluns and Ununs" and" The Short Vertical Antenna and Ground Radial." Dr. Sevick holds a B.S. in education from Wayne State University and
a Ph.D. in applied physics from Harvard University. He started his career
at Detroit's Wayne State College where he taught physics. While there,
he spent two years as a weatherman on ABC's Channel 7. In 1956 he joined
the Technical Staff at Bell Telephone Laboratories where he supervised
groups working in high frequency transistor and integrated circuit development,
reliability, applications engineering, and high speed date transmission.
He later served as Director of Technical Relations for A.T. & T.
Bell Laboratories until his retirement in 1985. |
